Thank you for a very fun event. Excellent tables, lots of ice (even in the heat), well sign posted and super friendly helpers and supporters. I will highly recommend the race to all my contacts, such a great vibe and beautiful scenery.

We don't just organise a race, we create life memories
We have two race distances, and you can enter either MTB, Gravel or E-Bike. This is essentially an MTB race. Gravel bike are welcome, BUT, we strongly suggest using a mountain bike if you have the choice. Just saying. The roads can be rough.

About the Berg 100
Established 13 years ago, this race beat the "Gravel Grinding Trend" - 90% of the route will remain on gravel district roads, the other 10% on small tar country roads. 2026 sees a brand new premium start and finish venue at Waterwoods Estate, Forth Nottingham, in the KZN Midlands.
A revised circular route for 2026 will take in the splendour of the region and the "adventure ride" feel our event is known for.
